If "I Think We're Alone Now" subjects Jeff Turner and Kelly McCormick are representative of what kind of people are out there in this big, scary world, we'll stay inside.
Sean Donnelly's disturbing documentary has several WTF moments, including the fact that '80s pop star Tiffany still has stalkers.
Turner, who has Asperger's Syndrome, believes Tiffany can time travel. He also spouts such words of wisdom as "It's the cracked ones that let light into the world" and "I'm straight. I just fight against Fascism." Oh.
McCormick, who was born intersexed, is even creepier than Jeff, and not because of the sexual identity issue. She claims she loves Tiffany "down to the bone marrow." Eww.
There's nothing Earth-shattering about this doc. We all know stalkers are freaky, but "I Think We're Alone Now" still provides a riveting portrait of their psychoses.
Catch it: Watching these two "fans" on screen will leave you with overwhelming revulsion, but it's also heart-breaking, to some degree. Bare in mind: You will never be able to listen to that song the same way again.
