The Senator Community Trust, neighbors and other community members gathered at the Senator on March 16 to discuss the future for the movie theater. There was a lot of name-calling and finger-pointing with very few concrete solutions.

No one's asking us, but we'd like to see a company such as Alamo Drafthouse Cinema or American Film Institute purchase the theater to program screenings and special events. It seems everyone else wants a "non-profit community center."
