Neighborhood guide: Mount Washington
When the Jones Falls floods, so does Mount Washington.

Mount Washington is just a short drive (or Light Rail ride) from downtown Baltimore. Mount Washington Village boasts a handful of upscale restaurants and boutiques, and across the Jones Falls there's an old mill complex with an often crowded Whole Foods and Starbucks. Traffic can be a problem here, but once you brave the jams, you'll be rewarded with crepes, sushi or perhaps a salon visit.
