Neighborhood guide: Federal Hill
The views from the top of Federal Hill are worth the climb.

Historic Federal Hill, located south of the Inner Harbor, maintains its old-school charm with brick rowhouses where families have lived for generations. During the day, explore the role the hill played in the Civil War, or indulge a more contemporary aesthetic at the American Visionary Art Museum. When the sun sets, though, crowds converge on Cross and Charles streets.
