Club 1722

One of the few after-hour clubs in Baltimore, 1722 is BYOB by necessity. DJs provide the music, which is mostly house, progressive house or remixes, rather than hip-hop. The crowd is more mixed than many Station North spots, with a blend of ages and a fairly strong gay contingent on some nights. Fridays, live performances start early at 11 p.m. Saturdays, the party doesn't start until you've already been kicked out of everywhere else (1:45 a.m.) and goes until the staff gives up, whenever that is. A strict dress code keeps out riff-raff and the flashing club lighting should keep out anybody with epilepsy.
