lilmissdaisie commented on Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest'

My boyfriend and I saw The Importance of Being Earnest last night at Center Stage in the Pearlstone Theatre and it was a great show. The talented cast will make sure your evening is full of laughs with this clever play. Center Stage is a great place to watch plays with parking directly across the street for only $5 after 4pm Kellie Bernavage

words will never be able to adequately describe how incredibly sad and devastated i am. boo hoo hoo.

jasonsation commented on Bring your own grog on the high seas happy hour

This is awesome, you get all the fun of being a pirate without the worries of being sniped while holding a ship hostage off the coast of Somalia. And for $20? I wonder if that includes booze.

jasonsation commented on Orioles opening day

Nothing beats watching the lowly Orioles smash the Yankees and C.C. Sabathia on Opening Day.

jasonsation commented on On the Delaware

Pssh, those ships have nothing on the USS Torsk and the Constellation.

jasonsation commented on Navigating the Inner Harbor

Nothing beats a baseball game in the summer time. Gimme some Boog's barbecue and a Clipper City and I'm a happy camper. Go O's!

ddoll5043 commented on Your guide to Memorial Day Weekend 2009

Should be a great weekend at the Harbor. Up north in the Hunt Valley Towne Centre, Greetings & Readings has new retiring Vera Bradley bags and colors on sale 25% off starting Friday. Plus, Saturday two authors are signing in the afternoon, one a Korean War vet and the other the writer of a book about the current U.S. conflicts in the Middle East.

jasonsation commented on Who would you like to use the piledriver on and why?

Hey, that's not fair. Feigning interest in a washed-up, balding rock-star is tough!

Baltimanda commented on DIYers get schooled at Atomic Books

We agree 100 percent. Glad you had a good time.

AlizaEss commented on DIYers get schooled at Atomic Books

Although the turn-out was a little small, I still thought this event was amazing! It was really nice to be reminded of all of the positive energy in the punk/DIY culture, from helping people make free screenprints to singing songs together to selling great homemade books on the cheap. As someone who's not so into the crazy music scene or riding around on trains, it was nice to be reminded that people who like to sit on the couch and read a great home-made book can be DIY too. Thanks for covering the event!

Foie gras is sickening. Is it good typography, at least?

Baltimanda commented on Duck, duck, puke

Did you hear? The duck people are at it again. They vandalized Iron Bridge Wine Co. with "Get rid of the foie gras." What kind of world do we live in when that's the grafitti?

JesstheNonMess commented on Garden gnome variety

Lol, Is that her partner for the show? Is that allowed?

leen commented on Ride safe

Dude, please tell me this casting call has some american-idol type elements that let the audience text/call in and vote! 'Cause we'd storm those channels to get you guys on! Nicely done ladies, nicely done!

Baltimanda commented on Theater anyone?

No pressure or anything, though.

Mike commented on Theater anyone?

Good luck, Jess! I'll be out of town but will be sure to stuff my face with some sushi in Providence for solidarity's sake. Do us proud.

molly commented on I love a parade

Well, you're right, that's more common, though it's a nickname for the holiday & if you google it, you'll have plenty of others to criticize. Is it me, or do only DBs post anon.? I guess you don't want your friends to know you're a douche, right, friends.

molly commented on The new dive

MDT? you mean mount royal tavern or middle distance runner, lol. 2006? didn't say MDR was cutting edge/ just that I like them. btw, if I'm into something not trendy/old news, wouldn't that make me not a hipster?:) if you mean the tavern, then I think it's timeless.
