You've been anticipating this long weekend since, well, the last long weekend, but now that it's finally here you can't figure out how to spend all that glorious free time. All those options could have a tendency to overwhelm and leave you flopped belly-up in the kiddie pool all weekend. Don't do that. We're here to help. Think of us as your personal summer camp counselor.

Here's a weekend plan for you that includes things to do, movies to see, restaurants to hit and more. Enjoy and see you on the flip side!

Weekend hit list

Weekend hit list

Events: Just because all of your friends seem to be away, it doesn't mean there's nothing left to do in Charm City for the next three days. Your event options include a Roller Girls season opener, the Sowebohemian Arts & Music Festival and some great live music.

Road trips: Gas up the ol' tanker and hit the open road for such nearby destinations as Rehoboth Beach, Harpers Ferry or New Hope.

Ribs

Big Bad Wolf's House of Barbeque

Restaurants: Or, you could stay here and take a tour of barbecue styles from Texas to the Carolinas. Memorial Day Weekend seems like the right time to start licking spicy sauces off your fingers.

More restaurants: We've been good for about as long as we can take it. We haven't spent any rent money on crustaceans since probably last summer. But we're about to crack. It's going to be a beautiful weekend and that means only one thing to us: Time to start picking. Don't forget the Boh!

Out drinking

Bars: Speaking of Boh, you should definitely get your drink on this weekend, that's why God invented long weekends--so you could have an extra day to recover. Here are some places where you can sip (and soak) in the sunshine.

Tourist trapped!

Tourism: If all else fails, head downtown and spend some time discovering your hometown. This outing doesn't have to be of the Bermuda shorts, socks with sandals and camera around your neck variety. Discover some cool touristy activities like eating in Little Italy, exploring Harbor East and riding a Segway (yes, really).
