American Visionary Art Museum
800 Key Highway - BaltimoreYes, we know museums are categorically boring and uncool. Lucky for you, then, that AVAM is the antithesis of those museums. All of the artwork in the museum is from untrained artists and the atmosphere is the exact opposite of what you expect in an art museum. Plus, the gift shop provides hours of distractions. This is a very cool way to get out of the heat this summer.
ESPN Zone
601 E. Pratt St. - BaltimoreWhether you're an avid sports junkie or a fan of extravagant arcades, this place has you covered. Owned by the sports media juggernaut, this multi-faceted experience offers more-than-decent food and an arcade without mallrats swarming to play Dance Dance Revolution.
Geppi's Entertainment Museum
301 W. Camden St. -
Baltimore
Enjoy a blast from the past at this museum honoring some of the most recognized cartoon characters and celebrities that have become our cultural icons. Learn about the complex histories of characters like Superman and Betty Boop. For the younger crowd, find out why Little Richard is famous beyond his guest turns on Geico commercials.
Harborplace & The Gallery
200 E. Pratt St. - BaltimoreLight Street Pavilion: Framing the western edge of the Inner Harbor, this building houses several of the city's most popular shops and restaurants. Try shopping at Urban Outfitters, dining at Phillip's and drinking at Hooters. Polish it all off with something sweet from the world famous Fudgery, all without ever leaving the building.
Maryland Science Center
601 Light St. - BaltimoreWe swear it's not as a dorky as it sounds. Take, for instance, the Body Worlds 2 exhibit. After its largely popular first go-around, Body Worlds is back. Learn how your lifestyle choices affect your body by looking at real bodies. That's right, real dead bodies in Baltimore. Do you think Chris and Snoop have anything to do with it?
National Aquarium in Baltimore
501 E. Pratt St. - BaltimoreEveryone's favorite field trip from grade school is just as much fun as an adult. With exhibits like Animal Planet Australia: Wild Extremes and a 4-D immersion theater, there's still plenty to do at this Inner Harbor mainstay.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
333 W. Camden St. - BaltimoreThe archetype of modern ballparks, Camden Yards is one of the best all-around baseball experiences you can find. Sure, it doesn't have the history of Wrigley or Fenway, and the O's have been struggling for years, but at the house that Cal built there's much more to the game than just the game itself.
Pier Six Concert Pavilion
731 Eastern Ave. - BaltimoreNothing says summer in Baltimore quite like the Pier Six concert series. This summer's schedule includes performances from Ziggy and Stephen Marley, Slick Rick, Slightly Stoopid and G. Love and Special Sauce. Enjoy a variety of live music with an unbeatable view of the Inner Harbor. Or, if you're super-cheap, pull up a bit of concrete on the next pier over and hear the tunes for free.
Power Plant Live!
34 Market Place - BaltimoreThis entertainment complex may qualify as an amusement park for adults. Featuring several bars, this party destination also offers a few restaurants and great live music. Though it's plenty fun year-round, summer time accommodates less clothing and, if possible, even less inhibitions. Let your perverted inner-child run wild!
Top of the World Observation Level and Museum
401 E. Pratt St. - BaltimoreIn the middle of the Harbor, you'll find a tall, skinny pentagonal building which houses one of the coolest attractions in the city. "Top of the World" is a viewing deck on the 27th floor of the building. It offers a breathtaking view of every nook and cranny Baltimore has to offer. Just an elevator ride away, this attraction is $10 well spent.

Nothing beats a baseball game in the summer time. Gimme some Boog's barbecue and a Clipper City and I'm a happy camper. Go O's!
