It was 8:30 p.m. before the first couples arrived for The Pretty Things Peepshow on Jan. 14, and then a steady stream of people filled The Ottobar. The crowd certainly seemed excited to see the show (and who wouldn't be thrilled for a risque set of burlesque and vaudeville acts?). Many of the ladies in attendance even dressed the part, donning pin-up era hair and dresses.
Vincent Drambuie kicked off the show shortly after 9 p.m., and his energy quickly excited the crowd, but not as much as the beautiful scene-stealers Bettina May and go-go Amy. In addition to the burlesque of those two dazzlers, sideshow acts included the beautiful and charismatic Angelica Insectavora and Heather Holliday. Throughout the night, the crowd was wowed by their performances. One of the highlights of the evening was Heather Holliday's sword swallowing act, during which the crowd fell silent.
See what else happened when The Pretty Things Peepshow took the stage.
