AVAM's annual race takes a wacky route to transportation

Despite overcast skies, the American Visionary Art Museum's 2009 Kinetic Sculpture Race took off full throttle Saturday, May 2. Cyclists rode alongside a variety of human-powered vehicles and crowds gathered to watch the rolling art projects speed along streets, trudge through mud and wade across water.
