This might not be a depression, but it sure is depressing! Everything costs more these days and finding a better job (or any job) seems out of the question. It's enough to drive us to drink, only that's getting more expensive, too! Well, don't move to Vermont to join a hippie commune just yet. Metromix is here to bail you out 'cause that's how we do. Baltimore still offers several free (or cheap) activities to get you out of the house. These ideas might not save your 401K, but at least they'll distract you from looming poverty.
