Been wondering where to find yourself a tough biker boyfriend, hot bikini model girlfriend or shining, custom-built chopper? Models & Throttles had the answer. The event took place Aug. 3, at Power Plant Live!, and featured a bike contest, Harley Davidson fashion show and stunt bike demonstrations. Grizzled biker vets, wheelie-popping hot heads and smiling models packed the plaza while the band Dirt rocked the crowd with '80s and '90s hard rock classics. Bikes were parked in tighter than cigarettes in a new pack of Reds. Local bike vendors such as Savage Cycles, Charm City Choppers and Mobtown Cycle proved they can match anything you've seen on "American Chopper." The $5 cover went to the Cancer Society, the weather was perfect, and there was food and booze aplenty. Turns out, heaven is a place on earth.
