Tavern's innovation reaches beyond the food menu

Salt bills itself as "a new American tavern serving innovative renditions of classic favorites," which means that instead of getting a standard BLT and an order of fries, Salt offers up a BLT with applewood-smoked bacon and lobster, and cooks the fries in duck fat. And forget ketchup—try the trio of flavored aioli, instead. The drink menu at Salt also gets the innovative treatment, which re-imagines popular standards to a similarly refined result.
