Black cherry smash martini at Five
Ingredients: Hendrick's Gin, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur and fresh black cherries
Damage: $10
Skinny: After sampling Five's other St. Germain cocktail—and loving it!—we thought we’d try the black cherry smash martini, which combines the unique French liqueur with gin. This drink was cherry-flavored, like Nyquil, and just as strong. How strong? All night, we kept daring people to light our cherry-flavored burps. The key word in this drink’s name is "smash," which we initially thought had something to do with the smashed cherries in the glass. We now believe it to mean the condition you will be in once you consume this cocktail. On the plus side, our nighttime sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, fever, stuffy head, need to rest feelings were gone!
