Murphy's quesadilla at Lucy's
Ingredients: The Murphy's quesadilla is a heaping pile of blackened chicken, red onions, green onions, plenty of cheese, red peppers and jalapenos on a green spinach flour tortilla drizzled with a cilantro crème fraiche.
Damage: $9 ($6 happy hour)
Skinny: Who ever heard of an Irish quesadilla, you ask? And, how the hell do you even make one of those? Well, start with a green tortilla, and then name it after some dude called Murphy. Perhaps it's merely coincidence that Lucy's quesadilla is green, perhaps not. Regardless, Lucy's food is a step above traditional Irish pub food, as they tend to cater to the Hippodrome Theatre crowd. The quesadilla—despite the jalapenos—is kind of mild, so we heeded the bartender's suggestion and added Tabasco. The tortilla is fried crispy, so it tends to break when you take a bite. Have a fork ready, because the quesadillas are excellent and you won't want to give up a single bite.—Mark Gross
