The Wharf Rat

This cozy tavern wasn't always named after the city's unofficial mascot. Back in 1907, it was known as Buck Gardener's. Legend has it that the original owner was gunned down inside the bar as patrons watched. An elderly couple who lives nearby says that at night they often see a man wearing an apron sweeping the sidewalk out front.
