Where beauty is in the eye of the beer holder

Ever wanted to get tanked while sketching live models? Don't worry, you're not the only one. Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School has, too. The group's local hosts, Aaron Bush and Alexis de la Rosa, organize cabaret-style live modeling sessions in some of your usual haunts. Metromix recently attended Anti-Art School at Dionysus in Mount Vernon.
For a $5 cover, artists get access to a three-hour drawing session, as well as an opportunity to engage in several "challenges" that result in prizes (like free shots!). Who couldn't appreciate that?
While the models won't be sporting their birthday suits for you, they do dress in a variety of enticing outfits throughout the evening. This is definitely cooler than your average art studio session, so check out their schedule and arrive early to secure a seat with a view.
