Kitty Kat Bar: User Reviews
Kitty Kat Bar
400 W. 23rd St. - Baltimore410-889-0091
Came upon this bar in my cycling wanderings in the city. Fills the Gap right now until The Diz gets up and running. A good friendly bar which reminds me of bars in the islands for some reason. Jeff, the owner is kind. He does tip himself before you're done drinking though. Many of my friends think it's too much of a dive bar, but WTF.
Report This ReviewSure, everyplace is worth checking out. This is where Kitty Kat ends for me. Sure everyone's friendly, it's a new place and the owner wants me to come back. My girlfriend and I started to play the life expectancy game: "How long you think this place will last?". 8 months. Laid back? You mean lazy. Quite possible the laziest DJ in Baltimore. More like a record player. Well stocked jukebox? It's an internet jukebox. They're all stocked. 6 months. Cheap drinks? Better keep an eye on your bartender and ask yourself: "Do I wanna cause a scene in here because he charged me for an extra round?" When the group next to us was ready to pay their tab the bartender had to ask them what they had and then tally it up. The owner who drinks with his bar goes down with his ship. 4 months.
