Poisons: Mojitos and caipirinhas

Classic mojito at Little Havana

Ingredients: Rum, fresh mint, sugarcane syrup, lemon, lime and carbonated water

Damage: $8

Skinny: We would be remiss if we didn't go to Little Havana to sample Cuba's national drink. There were several of us that night drinking Havana's mojitos, and it was evident that each had drinks made by different bartenders. One was too tart and limey and needed some more sugar. Another was too sweet and minty and tasted like we were drinking a pack of spearmint gum. But one of us had a drink that was just right. We spent the rest of the night searching for it again in vain.
