Red Star
Ingredients: Vodka, Red Star's homemade bloody Mary mix, hot sauce, pepper and olive juice garnished with lime, olive and pepperoncini
Cost: $6.67; $8 all-you-can-drink from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays with brunch
Skinny: If you're a fan of dirty martinis, then Red Star's bloody Mary is perfect for you. The addition of olive juice gives the drink a distinct, salty olive aftertaste. The extra olives and pepperoncini as garnish provide an extra boost of sodium, blood pressure be damned! We enjoyed this. The tomato juice mix seemed a little thinner and lighter than other bloodies we sampled, which isn't bad. You don't want a drink that's too thick. We've had a few too many bad bloodies that were the consistency of spiked marinara sauce.
