Metromix crew grabs its first Miller Lites. Miller Lites were $2 at all participating bars. Individual bars offered individual specials, such as $5 Irish car bombs at Grumpies and $3.17 corned beef and cabbage at Ropewalk. This picture, taken much later, indicates the restocking of Miller Lite needed to keep up with demand, as well as our inability to properly operate a camera as the day progressed.

Though the Irish stroll started at noon, the crowd is still pretty light. Signs in MaGerks claim this is the 11th annual Irish stroll, but those of us who have been in the neighborhood can't remember more than two. Of course, there's some question about whether those of us who started drinking at 2 p.m. will remember this one.
