I do agree with some of the comentators that PUR lounge is a very nice and posh place if you want to just lean back and chill while having a good time. Staff and Bartenders and barmaids are very hospitable. But come on ya'll some of the prices for the drinks are absolutely ridiculous!!!! I have experience Karaoke nights which takes place on Tuesday nights. I think if you lower the prices on some of your drinks more people would come and just see what it is like and not having to leave because they can only afford to spend but so much after all it is the beginning of the week. Or maybe have drinks specials like $2 dollar beers or ladies nights on Tuesday. If you are trying to build a clientele of regulars and new comers you must introduce a price reasonable enough for patrons to afford. Then on Friday, Sat and Sun if you want to continue your regular prices so be it because on the weekends your in competition with the other bars/clubs within that area. In this economicallly squeezed world we live in we all need a break and a nice place to unwind. I want to be able to bring more of my pep's to come on down and enjoy themselves as I have on my next trip around. So I hope that the owners read this and give it some thought on some of my possible profitable ideas!!!

What in the world, nice clean lounge, but empty, empty, empty. You can hear the exact same music on the radio, the DJ did not know how to mix. The people was stuck up and snobs. Oh course this was a clean club because it was empty (as in no one was there). The bouncers were gorgeous...

a place where mature people can go to have a nice time. now most people may stay away from hanging out at the various places on Boston Street due to the parking, or lack of, but, they have valet parking! u can tell that they put some effort in creating the vibe with the waterfalls and decor. and they are open EVERYDAY! for those on a budget, they can escape the normal $20 cover by arriving early. the sexy @PUR arrive after 11pm. but they groove til the lights come on!!! this place is for all and i highly advise all to check it out.

I'm not sure if I went to the same pur as the other reviewers. It's always empty with a $20 cover at 10pm, not to mention the $8 watered down drinks. It might be good for guys since there is always an abundance of females looking bored and sleepy or for those who like to watch couples cuddle in the corners. Save your money and go chill at Chesapeake Wine Company.

PUR is so hot, better yet it is tasteful. I have seen the before and after and I can't believe that it is the same place! The ambience is fantastic - very upscale but not pretentious. Valet service, great music not just radio hits and all around grown and sexy for real. Finally, I can wear my Carrie dresses and chill with a mature crowd that knows how to have a good time.
