Ingredients: Muddle mint leaves, then add fresh-squeezed lime juice, white rum, blue Curacao, blueberry puree and top with a splash of soda water and lemon-lime soda. Garnish with two blueberries and a cherry.
Damage: $8
Skinny: Sushi isn't exactly a staple of the all-American diet. This Fourth of July, you'd be hard-pressed to find it sharing picnic tables with burgers, dogs or potato salad. RA's no slouch when it comes to patriotism, though. During Independence Day weekend, the Harbor East restaurant offers the star spangled mojito, a refreshing blueberry mojito with a slightly nationalistic bent. The red and blue fruit (skewered along a white stick, of course) may cause some to pause in reflection of all this great land stands for, but we salute it for its sweet drinkability. It's easy to imagine ourselves sipping this until the "twilight's last gleaming" this holiday, then wandering outside RA for what's bound to be a great view of "bombs bursting in air" (or a reasonable facsimile, anyway).
