Some sage advice from a bevy of old ladies on the way in to this year's Oktoberfest: "Be ready to wait in line for those beers. Just watch the girls and listen to some music!"

Like the so-wrong-it-works combo of a bratwurst topped with crab and Old Bay (actually for sale to brave souls that day), the event was a bizarre but irresistibly Charm City take on the Germanic tradition. After a full afternoon of soaking up delicious local beer, phat blues, the oompah band's Chicken Dance and many, many plunging necklines and silly hats, we'll take Maryland over Munich any day.
