Looking for something fun, romantic and a little sexy to share with that special someone? Or are you currently unattached and in search of something fun that could eventually lead to something romantic and a little sexy? Try taking a Latin dance class. We know what you're thinking: "Ballroom dancing? Isn’t that what gramps and granny do at the Elks Lodge on Friday nights?" No. No it's not. Unlike the waltz or the fox trot, Latin dances such as the salsa, bachata, merengue and tango are hot, or, shall we say, muy caliente.

Nothing heats up an evening more than pressing tightly against someone else while moving your hips in time to a fast Spanish beat. Sure, you’ve watched "Dancing with the Stars" and thought, "I could totally do that." But let’s be real. Even if you're a naturally gifted dancer, you’re going to need a lesson or two to get the basic steps down. Metromix found five places around town that are the best for getting into that Latin groove. Each of our picks is available for drop-in classes, and you don’t need to bring a partner to participate.
