If sitting home on a Sunday night isn’t your idea of a good time, then set your sights on Axis Nightclub. They spin a rotating roster of parties seven nights a week.
Located in the Minneapolis Warehouse District, this cool club attracts young, well-dressed crowds who like to dance and drink. Most nights, the music varies from hip hop, Top 40 dance, R&B and old school.
But one thing’s for sure: the DJs here always aim to please. They’ll have your heart pumping faster than when the club was Fahrenheit.
Since the change from Fahrenheit to Axis, owner Walter Brill has given the club a sexier, more intimate feel.
"All ages and demographics create a melting pot of pure adrenaline and good times," Brill said. No matter what your background is, Brill will make you feel right at home.
So what can you expect at Axis?
Friday and Saturdays dance to their own beat with live broadcasts from B96 Beatmaster DJ JT and Tone E. Fly. Ladies get in free until 11 p.m., and with 2-for-1 drinks until midnight, the DJs won’t be the only ones spinning.
Then stop by for "Sultry Sundays" to dance it up with DJ Enferno and Big
Reece.
Weeknights bring just as much fun. Celebrate your week early and escape to "Taboo Tuesdays," where what happens in the club, stays in the club.
Some of the best drink specials in Minneapolis are served up on "Crave Wednesdays." Get VIP service with 2-for-1 bottles all evening, or cut right to the chase with shots of Patron at half the price.
One of the most interesting parts of Axis is its potential to be a true hip hop spot. "Underground Thursdays" offer an all access pass to underground hip hop. The official dress code of no hats, tennis shoes and t-shirts doesn’t apply on this night; but still look like you made an effort.
With a variety of options, there’s always something going on at Axis. Whether you’re kickin’ up your feet in VIP style or kickin’ it on the dance floor, it will be tough to leave at closing time.
